Anamorphic Lens on Sony is useless (Especially after using Lumix).
It's not ONLY no OPEN GATE but ..
(1) The de-squeeze in camera is limited plus small terrible quality screen can't see anything anyway.
(2) When you turn on de-squeeze you loose Autofocus AND IBIS (which is terribly with anamorphic and not optimized anyway)
(3) You would have to use external monitor and it really defeats the purpose of having a run and gun setup with new Autofocus anamorphics like the @blazarlens.official Talon.

I wish these brands would prioritize L-Mount at launch so the true quality and usefulness of these Autofocus anamorphic lenses can truly be showcased. It's sad because these anamorphic lenses have such great character but when limited to 16:9 a lot of the character is cut off (even more so when you have to crop into it to fill in more of the screen 🤦‍♂️)
Sony also needs to FIX anamorphic features in its cameras as well as add it to the Sony Alpha line
