This video tutorial uses clips captured by the Sirui 35mm T2.9 Carbon Fiber Full-Frame Anamorphic Lens (a lens from their Sirui Saturn range of lenses).
The tutorial looks at what options are open to videographers for creating widescreen movies. It outlines the lens specifications of the Sirui Saturn 35mm lens and some recommended Sony Alpha camera settings which will assist the videographer when working with an Anamorphic E-Mount lens. The tutorial then goes on to make recommendations for editing clips captured with an anamorphic lens - including options for desqeezing the distorted clips so they acquire the wide-screen look. The seminar concludes with recommendations for exporting widescreen videos (created by using anamorphic lenses) with and without letterboxing (black bars above and below the video).
