What we can tell so far:
When harvesting energy, the energy doesn't move.
-Being in group could be an advantage.
(Note: I don't expect the resources to disappear faster if harvested in group. This would go against Jagex's will to make the game more social.)

Different types of energy with different level requirements.
Same types of energy are usually together.
Divination can be used inside Daemonheim.
-C2 Divination could be an efficient way to train.

You can use Energy to create items.
Some items are tradable/alchable, some aren't.
Making items could become a Money Making method.
Crafting items gives exp, so energy is probably untradable.
Energy are stackable.
You probably need to collect raw energy then use them on a green hole to get energy used to craft items.
The raw energy are probably unstackable.
Crafting items requires energy and old items.
-This could raise demand for unusual items like Summoning did.
Some items will increase exp rates in various skills such as Mining, Wc and Fishing.
