This Road Rash ReMix appeared on OC Remix briefly on April 1, 2005. The OCR April Fools' prank for 2005 was a fake takeover by EA Games, with site rebranding and name changes to EA Remix. Two joke mixes were added to the site: this one, and Madden NFL 2005 "Pigskin Power" by GrayLightning and Liontamer.

After a few days analoq decided to revisit this version and replace some instruments / perform additional work, then submitted it as a "legit" OC ReMix. It was accepted and posted April 6, 2005, and is available officially on the site as ocremix.org/remix/OCR01337. In a sense, the April Fools version here serves as a "work-in-progress" version preceding the final cut.
