Restoring a BM556 analog oscilloscope made by Tesla in Czechoslovakia in 1982. Fixing broken and stuck front panel controls, things out of alignment, wires coming off, high voltage arcing and even some smoke! Also a brightness control problem, suspecting a worn CRT, fluctuating heater voltage, testing some transistors. The problem with the heater voltage (coming from the HV power supply) still has to be solved, as well as the bad time base or synchronisation.
