During 2020 the Camino and all of Spain, Portugal, and France (the main Camino countries) had plenty of challenges. There were border closures, regional lockdowns, restrictions, curfews, and travel bans. Our Camino Planner, Esme, talks us through some of these challenges and how Follow the Camino and our suppliers responded to them.
She also gives us an update on what hotels and suppliers did with their time, and what we can expect in 2021.
We are all incredibly thankful for our amazing clients and partners along all of the Camino Routes. We are looking forward to seeing what 2021 has in store, and we hope to see you all on the Camino de Santiago soon!
