Defender, Nicky Marker, signed for Blackburn Rovers in September 1992 from Plymouth. He would stay at Rovers for five years, leaving the club in the summer of 1997.
Marker made 64 appearances in total for Rovers, scoring just the one goal. This header against Tottenham at Ewood Park in December 1995.")

Danish striker, Per Pedersen, was signed by Rovers from Odense BK in February 1997 for a fee of £2m. His stay at the club lasted only until October 1997, when he was sent out on loan to Borussia Mönchengladbach for the remainder of the 1997/98 campaign. In the summer of 1998, Pedersen was moved on permanently to French club, RC Strasbourg.
Pedersen made 13 appearances in total for Rovers. 11 of those came at the back end of the 1996/97 season. While his other two appearances came against Preston North End in a two legged League Cup tie in the early part of the 1997/98 season.
He scored just the one goal in a Blackburn Rovers shirt. This header against Chelsea in a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in March 1997.")
