Ask anyone about the quintessential NS livery, and the chances are high they'll answer "Yellow!". But, yellow is not the only fruit. NS was once the railway of many colours - EMUs in green, electric locomotives in blue and grey, diesels in red, you name it, an NS train probably wore it. But why exactly were there so many NS colours before they settled on green?

The railways are not merely transportation- they were and are a way of life. They affect the passengers, the administrative staff and, of course, the enginemen and women themselves! The factors that go into making just one journey a success are nigh on countless, those expecting everything to be smooth sailing are gravely mistaken!
Not as plot-heavy this one, mainly because I wanted another excuse to try and make some pretty shots and spoof some films. (Can you find all of the spoofs?) Also tried to make more than a few reskins for this project. They dont all look as convincing as I would have liked but I managed to hide some fun stuff in there!

Everyone (whos sound of mind) can appreciate the beauty and charm of a steam engine. But their looks and power came at the cost of endless labour and uncomfortable working conditions. Maybe the diesel locomotives which replaced them might have a leg up on their elders in a few areas...
Once again, just 30 FPS for this one. Originally this was three totally separate animations but after realising none of those three were really enough to upload on their own, I reworked the scenebuilds where possible and started work on combining them into one coherent video. Enjoy!
