I got the chance to ask Nobuo Uematsu questions in a recent interview. Sadly, due to his schedule we couldn't do this live, but it was quite a surreal experience to be asking questions to the person who essentially led me down the musical path. It was quite emotional. Uematsu san is currently on tour with ConTIKI and has been working on the wonderful Merregnon: Heart of Ice, a piece specifically made for the concert stage. It is a very exciting time.
