About the artists...
Ladies of Midnight Blue are an Afro-Latin percussion and brass duet, using their powerful upbeat fusion to get us dancing in our seats.
We’ve also got Manchester’s premier Muslim drag queen @valqaeda, who uses drag to bridge the gap between Western and South Asian culture, with her funny numbers and controversial Facebook statuses…
Our Artist in Residence @badgalenby is a writer and performer who will be sharing some stories with us. The Fringe First award winner is equally inspired by Carly Rae Jepson and Tennessee Williams
Then, QueerCore alumni @Grace.Neville.Evans will bring the circus to us. Grace is a multi-disciplinary neurodiverse artist from the Scouselands and National Centre from Circus Arts graduate
Liverpool’s own @auntieclimaxx is a drag artist who works to create a radical and diverse queer community for performers and participants alike. She’s known for her stunning looks, gorge words and being the mother hen @eatmeclub.
With the festival creeping up now we are starting to get our acts together and we wanted to show you some of the fab nights we did last year. Can’t wait for more to come, who’s ready for this years festival?
