Atlas Graphics recently made a texture pack recently that fits an entire bump-mapped custom terrain world on the surface of a block in Minecraft. It's a single 8192x8192 texture with trees, snow topped mountains, bodies of water, and fields. Fitting an entire world inside of one minecraft block with proper shadows and lighting is no easy task. This is easily one of the most impressive texture packs I've seen in a while. (The block model was scaled up to make it easier to get footage of it)
