Cassie didnt try to trick Petra, Jesse, Ivor or Lukas[yet] because she saw they probably had some skill. Later[after CaptainSparklez murder and after she tricked], she pieces it together that Lukas and Jesse are lovers [At this point in the timeline], and decides to act and trick Lukas into joining by threatening to put Jesse in danger to get him to agree.
