When I built my own DIY cruise missile some 18 years ago it made headlines around the world. Here's an exclusive look at one of the early prototypes of the autopilot/flight-controller I made for that missile. Note the use of regular hobby-grade parts that were originally intended for RC plane use. The "risk" of drones and RC planes being used for bad things has been with us for two decades but it has never been realized. What's more, I doubt it ever will. There are much easier/cheaper ways for bad actors to do bad things.
