Amy Winehouse (1983 - 2011); may she rest in peace.
This is a post for me, a way for me to say goodbye, from an artist to an artist. Winehouse, despite anything anyone may say, was gifted and, thus, subject to personal demons that most folks just don't understand.
People who are gifted or who are genius are usually tortured souls; I relate to these people, having suffered my entire life with personal demons that come along with intelligence, giftings, abilities, etc... (call me arrogant if you'd like, I don't care).
Winehouse was a talented singer and songwriter and I will miss her music and always wonder what she could have done had she not passed???
So, this is for me... My favorite song, favorite version, and her best performance, in my humble opinion.
