So I was watching a pal's stream, he's doing a challenge he created where each time he gets a chaos emerald (or similar macguffin) he switches to a random game. So like, he was doing Sonic Adventure and he got to this part in Tails' story.
So like I was like "It's funny that Amy just doesn't care that a nuke is going off" and he was like "she was in Mystic ruins by then" so since I haven't really played the game in years and far as I know no one ever put the two cutscenes side-by-side I decided to rip this from a longplay I found on youtube.
I tried syncing up at two points: where Tails grabs Amy to fly, the egg carrier asploding (honestly coulda left these two out cuz it's irrelevant and the leaving the egg carrier was too different betwix the two) and when Tails waves "bye" and leaves.
It's clear that it's not 1:1 because of rashomoness and the way stories tend to show things that happen at the same time in a row from different perspectives (like Tails looking at the camera is actually watching Robotnik totally beefing it) but aunno I thought it was interesting to compare the two cutscenes.
I had to put Amy's lines from a SADX rip on here cuz the two audios clashed too much and I kinda wanted a clash cuz it's funny but I also didn't want a total cacophony.
Was this worth the effort? No. Tho I'm a freaking Sonic dork so this'll happen again probably.
