Alunalkujaan Nekoconiin tehty (ja sieltä karsiutunut) video sai ensiesityksensä Virossa järjestetyssä Animega Mess 2025 -tapahtuman AMV-kilpailussa, jossa se sijoittui toiseksi.

Kappaleen käyttäminen AMV:ssä on ollut mielessä monen monta vuotta, mutta oikean lähdemateriaalin löytäminen tälle on ollut haaste. Videossa Kakeguruin päähahmo Yumeko on kuvattu paholaisen ruumiillistumana, joka "täyttää huoneen helvetillä" ja laittaa koulun oppilaat tanssimaan hänen pillinsä tahtiin.

Idea typografiaan videossa tuli muiden AMV-editoijien videoita katsellessa, sillä hieman kauhutunnelmalla leikkivä video voisi hyvin toimia typografian kanssa. Tekstien liikeanimaatiot voivat olla hieman rujoja, mutta luulen sen olevan perunakoneeni vika.

Originally this video was done for a Finnish AMV contest, but it didn’t qualify for the finals. Hence the usage of a Finnish song Dance Panique by Turmion Kätilöt. Well, the debut of the video was in the AMV contest of Animega Mess 2025, an anime convention in Estonia, where it won the 2nd place.

I've had this song in mind for editing for many years, but the right or suitable source material never came to mind until I remembered the existence of Kakegurui and its main character Yumeko, who is at the center of this video. In this video she is the embodiment of a “devil”, who brings hell into the room and makes other students of the academy “dance” to the rhythm of her whistle.

The idea to use typography in the video actually came from watching other AMV-editors’ videos and I was thinking that it would fit nicely to this video. The animations might be a bit rough, but I think it’s my computer's fault. It’s a potato.
