This video was made for Project Org R2 under the theme of "pursuit". I loved this theme so much! I had a lot of fun editing it. Also so happy I finally edited a full Code Geass AMV - something I would never have done otherwise, to be honest..
Funnily enough I was thinking of Les Mis while editing this as well. Javert being in pursuit of Jean Valjean, until his death. XD Yeah, thematically that's the vibe I was going for with this. 8D

So me and Amy (Kaeldri) spent halloween editing for the Aeon Speedproof IC. Pretty much the only songs that inspired us were depressing and dramatic. Yeeep sounds like our editing - hey what better way to celebrate Halloween than with a video about two characters going crazy :D We chose the Aeon Special Category which required use of 90s anime.

Well the story behind this amv..
Basically I wanted to revolve around the theme of trying to escape from a fate thats irreversible.. Im not sure I achieved thatxD
Anyway this was a breath of fresh air ~ I wanted to do a raw amv for once, but now I want to go back to effects ;-; Im so indecisive xDD I hate how I have to rush things before a deadline and get lazy ;-; xD

SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 123-4 of Heaven Officials Blessing (Black Water Arc) (seriously dont watch this if you want to read it o_o)
This video was born out of 1) extreme angsting over the Black Water arc of the HOB/TGCF novel 2) A desire to practice using the puppet tool in AE. 3) Practice MMV FX again..
I love Shi Qingxuan so so much, hes one of my top 5 characters in HOB. Im nearing the end of the novel right now and thats still the case :) . The Black Water arc really had an impact on me, and this part of Heavy in your arms by Florence is so so perfect for Shi Qingxuan - He Xuan angst. The way the arc unfolded was honestly masterful.
I dont really ship them so I wanted to keep that possibility out of the video. But, there are signs that he definitely doesnt hate Shi Qingxuan as much as he wants to - and I acknowledge that :D
This was really fun to put together bit by bit, Id animate one thing every night and slowly put it together. I wish I had more sources to use, and that the manhua had more, but oh well - I used what I could, for now. One day the donghua/manhua will get there lmao.
