Welcome aboard Amtrak's Coast Starlight!
35 hours in the span of two days, I rode Amtrak's Coast Starlight from Los Angeles to Seattle. Train 14 departed LA's Union Station on May 28, 2019 at 10:10am and passed through cities such as Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Salinas. Dusk had arrived by the time we reached San Jose. No footage was filmed during this time as we rode through Oakland and Sacramento over night. I snacked in the observation deck and called it a night. The following morning on May 29th, I woke up early to catch the morning light. Never have I've seen so many trees! I'll let the video take it from here, words can't express the beautiful scenery and landmarks we passed through. Our train arrived at King Street Station in Seattle at 8:02pm. SEATTLE!
What made this journey worthwhile was knowing my destination was going to be spectacular. The two days on board really flew by. The people I've met and the scenery to behold was truly a memorable experience. This film highlights the moments of what it is like to experience a long distance Amtrak journey. I hope you enjoy the film.
For the best viewing experience, 4K is the way to go ;)
