In Dutch Miffy is actually called Nijntje, but that's a bit hard to pronounce if you're not Dutch. Miffy is a female rabbit and was invented by Dutch artist Dick Bruna in the fifties. Bruna sold over 85 million copies of his Miffy books in around 40 different languages. This shop - called 100% Holland - sells a lot of Miffy souvenirs. It can be found at the Dam Square.
