This compilation of seven aniimation motion comics is based on the rise of seven female DJ's, each climbing the ranks of the international electronic music scene while wrestling with their own personal struggles.
Based on the feature documentary AMPLIFY HER: the rise of the feminine, it propels the characters off the big screen into fictionalized worlds imagined by a team of 16 female writers, illustrators and animators. Catapulted through time and space, each woman's story takes on a new life in a graphic novel esthetic. They are a tribute to modern femininity, unified by contemporarily relevant themes that include self-image, competition, bullying, power, sexuality and vulnerability.
