This is a vid I've been wanting to make for a while, I just didn't have the proper song or audio... the scene is Dante's Inferno (just in case the "Dantes" at the beginning didn't clarify that) I feel like Dante's family life is similar to Marik's, even tho this isn't 100% what went down.
Basically I have this headcanon that when Marik's about to die, or be banished whatever, he can see his mother's spirit. Which I semi-stole from a fanfic... which is what started my Veronica obsession in the first place :'D
I'm not gonna sit here and pretend she's an amazing character, cuz she's not, she's a plot device, she's "the mother". But I still just really love the idea behind her - this hopeful, accepting woman who lives in such a dreary world. I really think that if they decided to make her a legit character, she would've been interesting.
As for Hank, I honestly believe there's more to him than most peeps give him credit for. The hints about him are very, very, very, very subtle, but they're there. And you cannot convince me he and Marik didn't have some bonding moments - I have manga chapters to back me up T_T
And that was a very long rant for a very short vid XD
