Daxx would have to be one of the most prolific Amiga mod artists with 300+ tunes to his name. Most mods are of the techno genre ranging from house to hardcore, many of his tunes are remixes and this collection is the first of a small series I will be uploading. I will also upload some of his original work in near future.

![Amiga Music: Daxx Compilation #8
Gday peeps, its been ages since we had any Daxx uploads and Daxx recently released a new remix/remake .mod of a favourite tune of his from back in the day and is the first proper protracker tune hes done in a very long time.
Ive included the new .mod for this compilation at track 04 Marusha Raveland, its a remake of the Wicked Mix version.
Drop on over at Daxx youtube channel if you want the .mod of Marusha Raveland as he has a link for it :)
I hope you enjoy this compilation of 90s house and rave clubbers.
NOTE 1: Track 2 - Rock The House II: I decreased the bass levels for SONG POS 51 to 54 to be more inline with the rest of the song, otherwise it was clipping badly when I amplified this tune to the rest of the compilation, sorry Daxx.
NOTE 2: This video has been partially blocked for the remix of Insomnia, Russia is the only country that is blocked :(
Too much political BS on this platform.

So I was rummaging around in the garage and come across two old cassette tapes of Amiga Music.
These are a couple of TDK 100 minute tapes filled with some early 90s Amiga techno.
I originally recorded them in either late 94 or in 95 with either an AmigaCD32 with Paravision SX1 or an Amiga 1200, judging by the years these tunes were made and the file sizes of some of them.
Ive re-recorded all the tracks from real Amiga instead of the cassettes as my cassette player is rubbish.
It took a little while to find all the tracks, thankfully I already had most in my collection but there were a few that were tricky to find.
Some tracks I had slightly wrong title names on the cassettes.
1 tune in particular was the completely wrong title and somehow I recognised the style of the track to a particular Amiga musician and found it.
Track 1 Mental Partition I only found with the help of the Youtube community when I uploaded the cassette version 2 months ago asking for track identification help.
Special thanks to KrautRockt/Robotronik64 for his video link, some bonus thanks to katakana1.
So welcome to the last video of this little series of cassette tape finds featuring some of my favourite Amiga techno choonz from when I was a young fella.
Enjoy this Side B of Tape #2.
NOTE: Track 2 I have previously uploaded to Youtube, technically track 1 as well, just not in tracker format.

![Amiga Music: Pattern Syndicate - Tactical Transmissions Techno Mix | Mixed by h0ffman
Hey guys, welcome to a fantastic music disk called Tactical Transmissions, released late last year for any Amiga OCS system with at least 1MB ram. It runs from a single 880kb floppy and displays some clever mixing of Amiga mods courtesy of Amiga legend h0ffman. To put into perspective, three 880kb floppies worth of Amiga choonz squeezed into a single floppy plus code, graphics and that sample wave generator thingy.
The idea was to include Protracker footage to coincide with the music disk footage and try to sync it all up to give a visual idea of how the music may have been mixed. This was a bit of a challenge as I think h0ffman added extra patterns as well as swap some patterns here and there of certain tunes and possibly combined channels with mod2smp. This was to accommodate the lead in and out of the tracks.
So Ive managed to get it reasonably close but there are a handful of sync issues as some of the notes dont match up between the audio from TT and the PT footage properly. This is because the pattern order is not exactly the same as the normal mod files I have in places.
Hope you all enjoy, was fun screwing around with the editor for this one.
