After my pretty hard "Blocky Skies" longplay where I had to use my poor brain to remember stuff, I felt like doing something a bit easier, so did this McGee series :P
Anyway, here's a quote from MobyGames of what this game is about:
"Katie's Farm is a sequel to McGee. Like that game it is an educational game for young children that is entirely wordless so that it can be played independently without assistance from an adult. The gameplay is identical to the first game but this time it takes place at a farm and McGee is joined by a second character, his cousin Katie. The farm consists of a few different locations (barn, paddock, hen house etc.) and for each there are four icons to click on which cause the two characters to interact with the environment in different ways. This include meeting different animals (cows, horses, chickens etc.), playing with a scarecrow and jumping in a haystack. There's no end to the game so the player can explore the farm freely."

A nice little Polish Bomberman clone. Good music too.
Taking the ? can be a huge risk. They can do good things, but also bad things like reversing the controls, spam your bombs against your will, making you walk slower, think I had the screen turn upside down at one point too (wasnt recorded, happened during testing). And if you get one that makes you walk through walls, be careful to not be inside a wall when the effect stops working, or you get stuck.
This game uses a bigger screen-size than normal for an Amiga game (overscan), so using the default settings (which I never do for anything anyway, always my own custom configurations) in WinUAE (emulator) doesnt seem to show all the four corners of the border (its usually one side missing). This is shown in all the screenshots on Hall of Light (Amiga game database), on the Lemon Amiga site, and also in videos on YouTube as no one used the correct settings. I did tho, yay for me *pats himself on the back*.")

Originally an Amstrad-only game (I think), but now also available on the Amiga as well.
When I saw the fairies and how they seem to pose no threat, I did think there might be something special about them, and when I completed the game it said to try and not kill any of them next time. Being curious what might happen if I didnt kill any, I checked the files for the message and found the same message about gratz, all potions collected... twice, and only one of them had the fairies message, so I assume if I did replay it and kill none of the fairies, the end message would be the same, but without the dont kill the fairies part.

A free escape-room type of game for the AMIGA CD32 about a woman trapped in a strange room trying to find her way home. How did she get there? How can she escape? And most importantly, why was she brought there?
I was a bit disappointed when I noticed there was only two rooms to solve. All the other ones had the exit to the next room already opened. The end boss fight was too easy, kinda hard to even lose (I never did, not even close on my first try, nor after when I goofed around to test the abilities). *Edit* - OK, went back to fight the boss to try to lose. Man, its hard to lose, took forever before he killed me (I would have killed him several times by now), but nothing happens, just a black screen.
I randomly found out about this game when I checked YouTube for recent Amiga game videos. For some reason none of all the recordings of this game got past room 2, which tickled my interest in trying the game. I didnt pay attention to how they solved the first room, but on my first try it took like 1-2 minutes to figure out what to do. The second room however had me stuck for like 15 minutes, lol. I knew I again of course had to figure out the right combination of numbers/words to press, and had several ideas of what they were and in which order. Like: the words I needed to press was obvious from the info I got from each place, like the bloods Pierce Your Soul, which obviously must be the knife, the tomb is of course rope, and the pipe is wrench. But the order to press them in was harder to figure out.
At first I thought it maybe was 2, 1, 3, 1 (knife, wrench, rope, wrench), as thats the order the lights go. But that didnt work. Then I thought theres something about the red light and how it lights twice. Maybe I needed to do something with the pipe twice? Maybe something with the blood twice? Nothing worked. Then I thought MAYBE I dont need to push anything this time, its just a distraction, and I needed to interact with the different items in the lights order, like interact with blood, then pipe, then tomb and then pipe again? If course that wasnt it :), I just wanted to try everything I could think of. So, I checked the game files, the different images... and BAM! I noticed these lights are in THREE DIFFERENT COLORS. On my screen when I played it I pretty much only saw red and two dark colored ones. My monitor is of course perfectly calibrated, perfect RGB and all that, and Im not color blind, but thanks to the bright area around the lights, they appear darker than they are (typical visual illusion effect thingy our eyes have in certain lighting conditions). The game window was small compared to the rest of my desktop, and the background of my desktop was pretty bright, so what only really popped to me was the red color. But of course, looking again now in the same conditions if I look closer, I see they are green and blue. I just assumed they were the same shade of dark colors due to the small window, bright background around the lights in the game and my desktop background, and Im sitting casually too far away from my monitor lounging back in my couch. But yeah, when I viewed the picture of these lights in my image program (black background around them) I saw the colors immediately.
So, now the solution was obvious to me, it was of course: green, red, blue, red... which of course means: pipe, blood, tomb, pipe... and thus: wrench, knife, rope, wrench. So, if it wasnt for the color problem, this room would have taken me about 2 minutes instead :)

Cute, simple, and fun, but not easy.
Tutorial levels + normal levels + secret bonus level (press left 7 times and right 3 times on the main menu). I did the secret level without music, as it started to get a bit too repetitive.

07:02 - I enter the code I got earlier when completing part 1. The reason they ask for the code is to make sure you completed part 1 first, as you can select which part to play, and they dont want you to play part 1 first :). Entering the wrong code results in this message:

If you dont make it out in time so the bomb explodes, it says this:

You cant loot enemies killed with the flamethrower, so better make sure not killing any of the important ones that drop the codes, as they dont seem to respawn. I accidentally killed one while he was on a lift, and doing so make them fall through it and disappear, and couldnt get another one to spawn again, not even after I killed myself so I lost a life. Maybe bad luck, or one has to go completely game over, probably not. Maybe he spawned elsewhere after that. Another one died while I took the elevator up, and when it showed the next screen, he was standing in the air where the elevator would stop, so he fell and disappeared before it stopped. They shouldnt have made enemies spawn on the elevator tiles when entering the screen if theres not elevator there yet.
Cant have more than 5 enemies on the screen, as new ones stop spawning/entering then.
The octopus level was crazy hard. You need to hit them a certain amount of times before they die, and you cant afford to miss too many, because as soon as one appears on the screen, it will just go for you after like 7-10 seconds and crush you. So, as soon as I killed one, it was just like 0.5-1 sec left before it would have killed me. I fought each one many times before I managed to kill them all. Thank god for savestates, of which I try to use as few as possible.
When people die, they sound pretty much exactly like the knights in Elvira - Mistress of the Dark when they die. Probably the same sound sample.
08:05 - STOPED
12:22 - Glitches here and the screen wont move back up by itself, so each enter/space/fire press makes it move a bit each time, which is why its so jerky. Maybe because I died while typing the stuff so it got confused or something. Time should pause when doing it, but dunno. Could have used a savestate to redo that part, but wanted to die at least once anyway to show the submarine/map screen. This screen seem like something you should be able to display whenever you want, but tried all the keyboard keys and controller combinations (AFAIK). Also looked for a manual and found one from the ZX Spectrum version, but it didnt say anything about controls/keys.
13:22 - Waited a bit to show his idle pose before going to the left to finish the game.
Had to censor the outro as the women had huge, juicy boobs, and the guy a long schlong. People love to report/flag videos that have any sort of nudity in them. Could be a few pixels in a low-res game where you barely can make out if its a nipple or not, and yet people report it. If you want to see them naked, look at any other recording of this game on YouTube, as no one else censors their Amiga longplays, and yet nothing happens to them.
