The second event of the "Year of James Baldwin: God's Revolutionary Voice," this two-day event commemorates Martin Luther King Jr.'s "Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence" speech on why he opposed the war in Vietnam and the burning question of peace.

Thursday, April 4 | 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Screening of Martin Luther King's "Beyond Vietnam" speech, followed by a panel discussion on a time to break silence today. Dedication to Mother Viola Liuzzo, Reverend James Reeb, and Aaron Bushnell. Exhibition showing the vanguard of the Black Freedom Struggle, the youth.
