America’s Old Playbook Doesn’t Work Anymore

The U.S. spent decades fighting containment wars — Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan — all built around one mission:
Stop Soviet expansion.

But that world is gone.
There’s no global communist empire to contain, no nuclear standoff on the brink, no Pearl Harbor-level catalyst forcing America into endless foreign battles.

The enemy dissolved.
The mission changed.
But the habit of intervention hasn’t.

At some point, the U.S. needs to accept a simple truth:
You can’t fight yesterday’s war in today’s world.
