My video interpretation of the kind of graphics used by many small Mom and Pop UHF television stations across Kansas and the whole of the United States back in the 1960s to lead into their news, weather and sports programing and cut-ins.
I was a big fan of these in my younger days and I constructed this one from memory.
Of course, I am only guessing at the colors, since TV was mostly black and white back them, but at least a veteran broadcast professional and agreed to let me use his image for this re-construction and approves this message.
Mom and Pop broadcast television was a great industry in the early years of television before broadband, often being operated out of spare rooms of car dealerships and country stores and these shoestring operations were often the only source of information in thousands of rural communities.
