Although not exactly the route I wanted to fly for my first ever American Airlines 787-9 business class review, LAX-DFW was better than nothing. Especially since I had been grounded for nearly a year due to the pandemic.
This is footage from AA1974 from Los Angeles to Dallas. Boeing 787s are extremely rare on this route, and I’ve never been lucky enough to try it until now. Was it worth it? Oh heck yes.
Being a domestic flight, American Airlines sold this as a first class seat. We all know it’s business class though (and I refuse to call it anything else).
I had seat 7A for this short 2 and a half hour flight, and the aircraft registration was N824AN.
