This is creative self expression on an issue that affects ALL women, across race, ethnicity, culture, socio-economic status and religious affiliations. And I am taking a side: one of equality and bodily autonomy.
I am infuriated and beyond sad at the state of affairs in our country...and when words fail me, I turn to my art journal. What you see here is not an explanation of the process but more of an encouragement to do what your heart tells you ... to find a way to process strong negative emotions in your journals.
