A version of this song on the GAITHER REUNION PBS Special reminded me of a live recording I had engineered for an album back in 1986. AMEN was part of a worship concert at Bethel Temple Assembly of God in Hampton VA, sung by an incredible vocalist named Odessa, and directed by Pastor Richard Wead with full choir and orchestra. I recorded on a Tascam 1" 16-track analog recorder using audio splits to a Tascam M520 studio mixer. It was mastered to half-track reel, and later archived to CD.
I assembled this video 34 years later to provide a format for YouTube and Facebook.
