On July 24, 2017 we wished a very Happy 120th Birthday to our first celebrity endorser, Amelia Earhart!
In 1934, Stanley Switlik and Amelia's husband, George P. Putnam formed a partnership and created the first parachute jump tower in the US.
Earhart was one of the first to jump from the tower, and after taking the drop told the New York Times it was “loads of fun!”
