I've always loved this soundscape from the original Quake. Sometimes I've started up the game just to sit in place and listen to this noise for a while. I have recorded a long sample and extended it so that I can listen to this amorphous watery swamp noise as long as I wish.

Here we have some deep brown lotus noise. It is very similar to the livestream I have been running for many months, except this brown lotus noise also has a center channel to focus your attention upon. Let me know what you think of this one below.
The noise works best on headphones or similar, but if you have the right kind of speakers it can work well on those too ( just dont play it too loud! ).
If you are on Linux ( or a similar operating system ) and have Sox installed, you can replicate this sound yourself by running the following commands:
play -c 2 -n synth brownnoise lowpass -1 480 highpass -1 100
as well as the following in another terminal
play -c 1 -n synth brownnoise lowpass -1 480 highpass -1 100
