Yeah, we get it - it was a trial that gave us major TikTok moments like Amber’s ‘my dog stepped on a bee’, but didn’t the trial end like 2 months ago? How are we still talking about Amber Turd and Johnny Depp! Well, it looks like Amber is not ready to quit just yet. Because Johnny’s ex is actually trying to throw out the verdict in the defamation case!
Umm… WTF! Wasn’t the final ruling made by the super-patient-extremely-nice judge? The answer is - YES! So how is Amber still trying to get people on her side?
Well, according to Amber’s lawyer, Miss Elaine ‘what-if-any’ Bredehoft, Heard’s team is ‘I’m trying, I’m trying’ [9:03] to basically throw the entire case ruling outside the window. The attorneys say that the verdict was not supported by the evidence and that one juror was not properly vetted by the court.
This basically means that there was a problem with one of the jurors, specifically juror 15, who was present during the trial case. Amber’s team alleges that juror 15’s documents showed their birthday in 1945, while public information shows the birth date as 1970. Amber’s team is actually trying to convince the judge to investigate the entire verdict because of this detail. But if I was 10.35$ million in debt to my ex-husband, I would be digging up dirt too! So, seeing Amber fight back like this isn’t much of a surprise, if you ask me.
