Also… since I have been focused on Amazon as a creator the past 4 years, I wanted to share my story.
I had no idea it was going to change my life. 🥹
So true story time… I know there are a lot of mixed emotions going around about Amazon Prime Day week, but let me share how Amazon Fashion changed my little part of the world.
During the pandemic, I thought my business was OVER. 🥲 Travel came to a grinding halt. It was one of my main topics that I made videos on and 2020 was supposed to be my “Year of Travel”. I had no pivot planned.
As the months went on… it became glaringly obvious we were going to be staying a home, for a while!
One day an invite to Amazon Live popped into my inbox, and I thought, “Why not? I’ve got the time!” Up to that point, I never went live and didn’t consider myself someone that could do livestreams. 🫣
But I did it scared… and found out I kind of enjoyed it! Then I found the Amazon Influencer Program and started making shoppable content. I developed my storefront and that led to me starting to focus on the blogs. Everything started clicking into place! 🎉
I went from thinking it was the end of my business, to starting a whole NEW type of content! And growing my business beyond anything I had dreamed of before!
This Prime Day, I’ve not only gone live on Amazon Live multiple times - I’ve also:
▪️ Sent emails out to my list of over 15,000 people even though I always told myself I couldn’t build an email list. 🥹
▪️ Worked with my 3 VAs to get content pushed out this week, even though I never had envisioned building a team in my business.
▪️ Created content for an all new side of my business over on @momswithmouseears - to share my view of planning and knowledge about the most magical place ever.
And you know what got me there? Accepting that Amazon Live invite one random day during the pandemic! 😳
Had I not tried something new, I might have been stuck thinking I was “only a YouTuber” forever. Now I focus on blogs, emails, my storefronts and consider myself a Content Creator!
So if you get anything from my content this week… I hope it is that you should try new things. 🫶 Do it scared. ✨ And make magic in more ways than you ever knew were possible! 💜
