Great for small jobs, needing accurate temperatures, for short durations.
Max 350 degs C but the small print says do not go above 250 degs C.
Attempting to use for 10 minutes or longer at the higher temperatures means the whole unit gets too hot and fumes start coming off it and they stink.
Hot plate cools rapidly if an item is placed on it, instead put the item to be heated on the hot plate and let both heat up together.
Verdict - good, for what it is intended for.
Back to the large hot plate for me, which I did expect...
Currently £28 and you need a 20 volt 65 watt power supply as well.
