In today’s video, I break down Amazon’s latest Kindle update that brings back book downloads… sort of. Starting in January, some Kindle books will once again be downloadable, but only under very specific conditions. I explain what’s actually changing, how DRM plays into this update, and why most readers probably won’t see much difference day-to-day. If you care about ebook ownership, Kindle restrictions, and reading outside Amazon’s ecosystem, this is one update you need to understand before getting too excited.
