Look, I get it - books are for nerds, but do we really have to just throw them away?
Amazon’s bulk buying loads of rare books to feed to their AI slop factory, which we KNOW because of a conveniently placed airtag
404media was able to track a physical book all the way to a warehouse in Las Vegas notorious for slicing the spines out to scan the pages before chucking them in the trash
This is a systematic issue that booksellers aren’t exactly crazy about, and it’s been going on for a while now - the facility 404’s book went to literally even has a logo that’s just an AI generated T-Rex angrily holding a book
