This is a great way to change to 8 keys with one diminished 7 chord. It is called: the diminished portal chord. A dim7 chord is symmetrical which means that the tonale distance between all notes is the same.
All notes in a diminished chord can be the root of the chord, resulting in 4 diminished chords that resolve to the same 4 major and 4 minor keys.
