We had an Amazing Sunday Lunch at Lumley Castle, when we stopped overnight for my birthday. We booked B&B at Lumley Castle, but I also booked a Sunday lunch too and I was hoping to be impressed with the food. We both had two courses the 12hr Slow Cooked Braised Feather Blade Beef, with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings for me and the Roast Chicken, Yorkshire Pudding and all the trimmings for Mrs Metalman. A last minute change of mind saw me change from Mrs Metalman's dessert of Valrhona Chocolate, Hocky Pokey, Raspberry Gel, Blood Orange Sorbet, to what I hoped, was going to be an even better dessert of Salted Caramel Tart with Clotted Cream. Mine looked small in comparison when they both arrived but did this spoil the whole afternoon lunch at Lumley Castle?
