I have been very impressed with the Phoenix art products over the years, from inexpensive canvas and paint to oil sticks and now professional tube watercolors. Even if you have never tried Phoenix products you probably have used some of the supplies they make for your favorite art and craft companies. Phoenix has 3 grades of tube watercolors that I know of; a budget grade sold at Ocean State Job Lot, an artist's grade equivalent to Winsor & Newton's Cotman (also in pans: amzn.to/41Qvaj0 ) and a professional range in new tubes and also in pans: amzn.to/45nDxF5 and tubes: amzn.to/4nd6qcO
*The Professional range reminds me a lot of Winsor & Newton Professional watercolor so if you like those, I would consider trying Phoenix!

Pros:
Beautiful color selection
Large 14ml tubes
No binder separation
10 granulating colors
28 Single pigment colors
Lightfast and pigment info disclosed
No cracking when dried in palette
Rewets well
Great for glazing
Open stock tubes coming soon!
Cons:
The maganese blue hue was glossy when dried, I think it had too much binder/filler.
Bottom line: The paint and palette were of wonderful quality and I recommend them if the colors suit you and they are in your budget. The price is excellent too!
