Hi all
Trying to replicate Mr Clean (aka Kdkinen) double car coils experiment, , i stumble upon this circuitery.
The circuit is connected to the ground (earth or grid ) and to an air antenna wire which is also energised by the HV of the car coil.
The LED (Philips 5 watt with lighting rating of 25 watt is a 5E14P45 ), is very impèortant because under power it flashes.
The flashes are at about 6 Hz and are composed by increasing very peaky sine wave which are at 1.6 kHz oscillation..
This oscillations are increasing in a trompet form until reaching enough amplitude to get the flash in the LED.
So in this Led i suppose that the combination between the Ground , the energised Air antenna and the LED's electronic are constituing a charge pump very efficient.
Can somebody explain the inner electronic of these typical LED.
OK hope this helps
Good luck at all
