I’ve had this done for a week now, I’ve just been hanging onto it 😂 Just so the story here is understandable- last year I went through a friendship breakup with a girl who I thought was going to be my sister-in-law, and it sucked, but the only thing worse than the breakup was the friendship itself. I won’t get into specifics, but it was emotionally abusive and manipulative, and my self-esteem was so destroyed that I genuinely believed I was the problem. It was very hard on me leaving that friendship I was so attached to even though it was so bad for me, but a month after, I met a girl at another friend’s birthday party, and we decided to exchange phone numbers. We would open up to each other more and more every time we spoke, my family started bringing her to a youth group with us, and we began talking on the phone, which I would say is when we started getting close. It’s going on a year now, but she continues to astound me with how mature, smart, kind, and not-confusing she is- she’s everything my old friend wasn’t, and I’m so beyond grateful 🥹 I’m not afraid to trust her, and I can go to her for anything without judgement or getting fingers pointed at me. If she does have anything negative to say about me, I would trust it’s well-deserved 😂
