Steven Strauss plays Bunthorne's Song. "Bunthorne's Song" (a.k.a. "Am I alone and unobserved?", "If you're anxious for to shine" and "The Aesthete") was composed around about 1881 by Gilbert and Sullivan for the comic opera "Patience". Lyrics are not used in this performance. Steven Strauss is on his electric concert ukulele and Ed Johnson is on the wash-tub bass ("gutbucket"). This music was recorded on February 2, 2013.

Videographed and sound engineered (such as it is) by Pip R. Lagenta. The video and audio are edited by Pip R. Lagenta.

Steven Strauss, or Friends of Old Puppy, play at the Nabolom Bakery in Berkeley, every Saturday morning (starting at 10 a.m.).
