This is a general overview of the early 2000s international (more specifically, the Brazilian printing) DVD of Steven Spielberg's obscure 1989 drama Always, released during the era where Universal Studios Home Video had an international, DVD-exclusive distribution deal with Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.
The DVD is largely the same as both the original US DVD released around the same era, but with the custom icons that the international Universal releases under Columbia TriStar used to feature on its menus, plus the Universal-specific "Spoken Languages" & "Subtitles" screens (you can tell BECAUSE OF THE UNIVERSAL GLOBE ON THE BOTTOM LEFT!!!), and the Help Menu which is present in the other releases around this time. I actually had to splice in the Universal logo at the beginning and edit the Warning screen using Clipchamp, since the player I use (Media Player Classic Home Cinema) for some reason loves to speed through the Universal logo, just so I can preserve it the way it actually plays on the DVD. Plus, I also added the fades and formatted the video to 4:3 using it.
