A short gameplay video of this new game that a friend (Valis) gifted to me on Steam called Alwa's Awakening. This game came out Feb 2nd so yeah I'd say it still is pretty new. I've gotten much farther than what I show in the video though and it really seems to be a solid game. Though it was pretty buggy when I tried playing it on the 1600 x 960 resolution. So I had to lower it. My one big complaint so far is how you're not only spoon fed the information on where you need to go, it's shoved into your face. A little mystery goes a long way, I'd like to have the chance to figure stuff out on my own. Otherwise, if you're charmed by the classic NES 8-bit graphics & music and enjoy metroidvania games then yeah I can say you might enjoy this game too.
