Join me and many others as we experience @officialaltontowers on their opening day 2026 which gained had a huge amount of mixed reviews throughout the day
The bus replacement service for the Monorail was a huge benefit however I heard that it didn’t start till gone 09:30am so some people still had the 20min walk
The old Corkscrew track has been jet washed and repainted back to its original Yellow and it looks great, after my visit I heard they had done another coat on it
Generally our day went as good as it could get, had a great time with friends and meeting fans and got on the rides I wanted to do, Nemesis Reborn and Wicker Man were fantastic
It was also the amazing Alton After Dark event with the rides and park open till 8:00pm which is always and great time, rides in the dark and the park looked spectacular at night
