Here is an alternate setup for Boat Skip. This setup might be easier for some people that struggle with buffering boat skip because the earlier pause frames after the void have more leniency. Setting up the EPG is trickier but I think the part after the void is easier.

How to do the trick:
-Do entrance point glitch with the hover boots, then z-target and ESS turn down to turn around.
-Z-Target then ESS turn left once and target again, unequipping hover boots.
-Walk up and position yourself along the door so the seam for the left side of the doorframe is between your 2nd and 3rd hearts (try to get it exacty between them but you can also be a bit to the side like in the video).
-Sidehop left and wait for the door to close.
-After that just use any setup to void out with hover boots on (I use this one: youtu.be/vyHyHhuqlSg?t=158 )
-During the void, mash start but don't hold a direction on the control stick.
-There are 3 frames you can pause on which can work. The earlier of the 3 you get, the more lenient the trick will be. These pictures show the 3 possible pause frames and what to do on each of them: http://imgur.com/a/Y2ZHv

Frame 1:
This frame is the one you want to get because you can overbuffer by 2 frames and it will still work. Just do the following actions within a 5 frame window: hold left, then release left and start holding z, then sidehop. This means you can do any of the following and it will work:
-Hold left for 1 frame, Hold Z and release left for 1-3 frames, sidehop right
-Hold left for 2 frames, Hold Z and release left for 1-2 frames, sidehop right
-Hold left for 3 frames, Hold Z and release left for 1 frame, sidehop right

Frame 2:
This frame allows you to do the inputs in a 4 frame window, which means you can overbuffer by 1 frame and it will still work. The following work:
-Hold left for 1 frame, Hold Z and release left for 1-2 frames, sidehop right
-Hold left for 2 frames, Hold Z and release left for 1 frame, sidehop right

Frame 3:
This frame is the hardest, you have to do 2 frame perfect buffers.
-Hold left for 1 frame, Hold Z and release left for 1 frame, sidehop right

For the sidehop, you may need to hold up, up-right, or right to get the sidehop depending on which frame of the z-target you sidehop (you will be able to tell based on the camera angle). A few frames into the sidehop, you want to unequip hover boots (not too precise, just don't unequip them on the 1st or 2nd frame of the sidehop; I usually wait for him to yell). Once you land in the unloaded room, you will be in the wall between the boss door room and the boat room. Turn right, z-target, walk to the left a bit, and backwalk off the edge to grab it. From here you can do whatever setup you want to get to the boss door and BK skip.

This setup makes it easier the earlier you pause after the void, while the previous setup makes it easier the later you pause. This setup is probably easier if you are a good masher and can consistently get the 1st or 2nd pause frame after the void out, but it's a few seconds slower for sure. I personally find this setup to be a bit easier than the current one.
