Description: I looked for an inexpensive way to have a nice looking cover for my 5 years Hobonichi Techo. Came up with this easy and quick solution. If you don´t have stone paper you can use heavy weight paper and cover it with layers of acrylic paint to make it more sturdy.

I got a beautiful card/letter from Vanda Symons (yes, THE Vanda Symons, the creator of the wonderful stories about the New Zealand officer Sam Shephard). My idea was to use the letter, card and envelope, even the stamps, to create a new card. I started with a vage idea, went with the flow, got a bit ott but found my way back to a half decent mixed media work of art.
