Today It is all about altered art. I'm sure everyone has some objects at home that could be altered.
Maybe they need just a new color or a different style?
A few days ago I bought a lovely second-hand photo frame. It already has a nice shape, but I decided to make it even more pretty :) My video tutorial will show you step by step, how to add a special touch to an everyday object. The altered frame I'm working on in the video is for a boy but with a slightly different set of images, it could be a unioque home decor for a girl.
The frame has 2 windows for the photos but after my alterations, only 2 will still be in use, the other 2 I'm going to cover with embellishments.
I'm using gorgeous 'Baby Boom' paper collections from Lemoncraft:

In the collection, you will find so many beautiful images that it is hard to decide what to use!
I made some flowers and die cut leaves, and collected few little pieces that can be good for this type of project:
* little buttons
* tiny pegs
* pearls
* die cuts
* crochet flowers, doily
* pieces of lace
I usually try to choose things in similar color or white.
