as someone who realized they were autistic as an adult, seeing rise's donnie be treated so well is a bigger comfort than rise's writers may even realize. and clearly, i'm not the only one who feels this way. i'm still learning, but i hope that with characters like donnie, more of us will be able to learn together. 🐢💜
