Join us on a little adventure in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! We are visiting Los Senderos Ranch, to visit with Larry, Terry, and their wonderful herd of Alpacas!
Our Direct Trade Farm to Fiber program supports local farmers and ranchers by buying, processing, and sharing their fantastic fleeces with our felting friends. We thought it would be a special treat to bring you along with us to visit with one of our Direct Trade partners.
Today we will meet the alpaca herd, feed them, and learn about their habits and the land on which they roam. Marie discusses some of the qualities and benefits of using alpaca fiber in felting projects, and what she's learned about these local Alpacas and their fleece.
